Council is seeking an experienced professional to coordinate future event procurement and venue development, financial management, administration and customer service of AELEC whilst playing a pivotal role in delivering excellent events. The ideal candidate will have experience with grant applications, financial and budget management, project planning and management as well as the ability to manage AELEC's external communications channels.
The Australian Equine & Livestock Centre (AELEC) is one of the most unique events complexes in Australia; attracting a diverse range of world class and national events. It is a major contributor to the economic development and strength of our Region with opportunities to expand the commercial and tourism prospects of this incredible facility.
The Venue Operations Manager Is Responsible For
* Strategic planning for events and operations
* Coordinating and maintaining long-term effective stakeholder relationships including negotiations, engagement, sponsorship management and development
* Marketing and social media campaigns and sales
* Financial management, administration and customer service
* Reporting, surveys and data analysis
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED
* Degree or tertiary qualifications in Business, Event Management and/or Marketing Management or similar discipline OR equivalent relevant experience
* Current Driver Licence (Class C)
* Working With Children Check (WWCC) clearance
* Immunisations for Hepatitis, Tetanus, Q Fever (or willingness to undergo)

Salary range: Grade 17
$98, $106,199.05 per annum plus 12% superannuation and *leaseback vehicle for a 35 hour work week. Salary may be negotiated based on skills, experience and your value to our organisation.
* It should be noted that an employee salary contribution is required for this motor vehicle.
Flexible working arrangements will be considered by mutual agreement and according to operational requirements.
