About the Role
We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to join our team and contribute to the well-being of our community. As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives while gaining valuable skills and experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Our volunteers play a vital role in supporting our organisation. They assist with various tasks, including:
* Recyclability and Op Shop operations
* Murray River Tea Rooms management
* Fundraising Committee activities
In addition to these roles, volunteers also support our clients with their daily needs, providing companionship and assistance as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Be at least 16 years old (or have parental permission if under 18)
* Hold a Working with Children Check card (Victoria)*
* Be COVID-19 vaccinated (3 doses or medical exemption)
* Be willing to work collaboratively as part of a team
* Have good communication and interpersonal skills
* Be punctual, reliable, and able to follow instructions
