About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Social Media Strategist to lead our organic social media growth. This is a crucial role that will directly impact our brand presence and audience engagement. You will leverage our existing assets, including influencer relationships and high-quality content, to significantly expand our reach and establish our social media presence as best-in-class.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
* Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to drive organic audience growth across all platforms (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
* Analyze current social media performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
* Conduct competitive analysis and stay up-to-date on the latest social media trends.
* Develop a cohesive social media strategy that ties in perfectly with our YouTube and TikTok channels.
Content Management & Optimization:
* Oversee the creation and curation of engaging and visually appealing content.
* Optimize content for each platform to maximize reach and engagement.
* Clean up and optimize existing YouTube and Meta pages.
* Ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all channels.
Community Engagement:
* Build and nurture a strong online community.
* Monitor social media channels for comments, questions, and feedback.
* Respond to inquiries and engage with followers in a timely and professional manner.
Influencer & Partnership Management:
* Leverage existing relationships with sponsored athletes and influencers to amplify brand messaging.
* Identify and cultivate new partnerships to expand reach and engagement.
* Work with upcoming high-profile partnerships such as LFA/UFC sponsorship.
Performance Analysis & Reporting:
* Track and analyze key social media metrics to measure campaign effectiveness.
* Generate regular reports and provide insights to stakeholders.
* Make data-driven decisions on social media strategy.
Copywriting:
* Create compelling and effective copy for social media posts, ads, and other marketing materials.
Required Skills & Experience:
* Proven track record of success in growing organic social media audiences.
* Extensive experience managing social media accounts for consumer-facing brands.
* Strong understanding of social media analytics and reporting tools.
* Excellent copywriting and communication skills.
* Experience working with influencers and managing partnerships.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Around 3 - 7 years of experience, preferably with experience in a larger company's social media team.
* Hunger to move to a smaller, fast-growing company.
