This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Buyer to step into a fast-paced environment and contribute to the success of a high-performing procurement team.
Your recent role
Reporting the the Procurement Manager, this diverse role will cover but isn't limited to:
- Manage procurement activities across assigned categories, ensuring timely replenishment and alignment with sales goals
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders
- Support new product development by sourcing suppliers and contributing to product launch planning
- Lead negotiations, manage bids and proposals, and evaluate vendor performance
- Monitor market trends and provide supply chain insights to inform decision-making
- Handle key procurement admin tasks including contracts, purchase orders, shipping updates, and reporting
- Participate in quarterly supplier reviews to drive performance improvements and cost efficiencies
What you'll need to succeed
- 3+ years’ experience in a procurement or buying role, ideally within FMCG or ideally, seafood
- Strong understanding of end-to-end procurement and supply chain processes
- Proficient in ERP systems with solid analytical and reporting capabilities
- Experience aligning purchasing with demand planning and sales forecasts
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage supplier relationships
- Highly organised, process-driven, and confident making decisions independently
- Tertiary qualifications in supply chain, procurement or a related field (preferred)

Remuneration wise, this role will attract a package of circa $125k + superannuation.
