About the Role

Trade Sales Development Manager is sought to lead and grow Penrite’s presence across Albany and surrounding areas, including Esperance, Walpole, Manjimup, and Katanning in Southwest Western Australia. This hybrid, field-based role engages with a diverse customer base across trade, retail, agricultural, and industrial sectors unique to this region. You will build strong local relationships, drive sales growth, and expand our market footprint — supported by a trusted Australian brand and a dedicated national sales team.

Reporting directly to the Trade Sales Manager, this role suits a results‑driven professional who thrives working independently and is skilled at developing regional business opportunities in a dynamic market like Southwest WA.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement sales strategies tailored to trade and retail customers
- Build and maintain strong long-term relationships across your territory
- Proactively identify current business opportunities through fieldwork and local knowledge
- Attend trade events, expos, and regional customer meetings to promote Penrite products
- Provide timely reporting on territory performance and customer feedback
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure excellent service and supply

What We’re Looking For

- 5+ years’ experience in territory or regional sales (automotive or trade-related preferred)
- Prior tenure with a major oil brand or a reseller/distributor of a major oil and lubricant company
- Demonstrated ability to exceed sales targets and grow market share
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Organised and self-motivated, with the ability to work autonomously across a wide rural area
- Full Australian work rights and current driver’s licence
