About the Role:
Glencore Technology is a leader in delivering innovative mineral processing solutions globally. Our products include cutting-edge technologies such as IsaMill, Jameson Cell, and Albion Process. As an Electrical Systems Specialist, you will partner with our clients to design, develop, and implement projects that combine process design, engineering design, training, commissioning, and ongoing support.
Key responsibilities will include conducting on-site auditing and testing of electrode handling machines, both domestically and internationally. You will also be responsible for fault-finding, maintenance, and repair of cathode plate manufacturing facilities to ensure optimal operation.
To succeed in this role, you will need strong mechanical maintenance experience working with PLCs, robotics, pneumatic, and hydraulic machinery. Experience in copper/zinc refineries or electrowinning maintenance is highly desirable. An engineering qualification or specific industry and practical experience are essential. Excellent interpersonal skills are required to communicate technical and commercial issues effectively with clients.
