Job Title: ICT Support Engineer – Radiology & Medical Imaging Systems

Job Summary
We are a growing multi-site radiology group providing diagnostic imaging services
across Australia, operating 3+ clinics with extended hours and high-availability clinical
systems.
We are seeking a skilled ICT Support Engineer to support and maintain our critical IT
infrastructure, clinical applications, and medical imaging integrations that enable safe,
uninterrupted patient care.
This is a full-time, ongoing position supporting our long-term operational
requirements and business growth.

Our radiology clinics rely on 24/7 access to:
PACS and RIS imaging platforms
secure clinical networks
imaging equipment connectivity
electronic referrals and reporting systems
patient data storage and compliance systems
Any system outage directly affects clinical operations, patient safety, appointment
schedules, and regulatory compliance.
Due to our continued expansion and increasing system complexity across multiple sites,
we require a dedicated ICT Support Engineer to ensure system reliability, performance,
and security for radiologists, technicians, and clinical staff.
Key Responsibilities
Provide advanced technical support to radiologists, clinical staff, and
administrative users across all sites
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and application issues
Support and maintain PACS, RIS, DICOM integrations, and imaging modality
connectivity (CT, MRI, X-ray, ultrasound systems)
Monitor system performance, availability, and security across servers,
networks, and cloud platforms
Administer Windows/Linux servers, Active Directory, user access controls,
backups, and patch management
Manage incident response, root-cause analysis, and system documentation
Implement and maintain cyber security controls to protect sensitive patient
data and comply with health data regulations
Coordinate with imaging vendors, software providers, and network suppliers
to resolve complex technical issues
Support clinic openings, system upgrades, infrastructure projects, and
disaster recovery planning
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 3 years’ experience in ICT support / systems support / network
support roles
Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise IT environments
Strong knowledge of:
o Windows Server & desktop environments
o TCP/IP networking, firewalls, VPNs, switches
o Microsoft 365 / Active Directory
o backup and monitoring systems
Experience supporting healthcare or radiology systems (PACS/RIS) highly
regarded
Proven ability to troubleshoot complex system issues in operational
environments
Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, or
related field (or equivalent professional experience)
Salary & Benefits
The role offers a competitive market-aligned salary in the range AUD 75,000 – 95,000 +
superannuation, based on skills and experience, reflecting the Australian market rate
for ICT Support Engineers with comparable experience in the Gold Coast region.
(Final remuneration will be determined in line with Australian market rates for ICT
Support Engineers and internal equity.)
