An expanding modern accounting practice in Port Lincoln, is seeking an Intermediate or Senior Accountant to join their Business Services and Tax team.
About the Opportunity:
This growing firm, is seeking an Intermediate or Senior Accountant to bolster their Business Services team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for someone with 2+ years of experience within an Australian accounting firm, coupled with CA/CPA qualifications or willing to complete.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with a diverse portfolio of clients
- Preparations of IAS & BAS
- Preparation of financial statements and tax returns for all entity types
- Div 7A, CGT and FBT Calculations
- Advisory services with client contact from the start (if senior)
- Liaison with the ATO
- Maintenance and preparation of clients financial records
- Excellent client relationship and rapport-building skills or wanting to learn
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in an Australian accounting firm.
- CA/CPA qualifications or willing to complete.
- Proven experience in an Australian accounting firm
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
