Product Management Position
The role requires a skilled individual to lead a team in the delivery of logistics, contract and maintenance support for the MH-60R Seahawk Romeo helicopter fleet.
This involves working closely with industry partners and Navy to directly support and deliver critical Defence capability in support of Australia's national interests.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing complex product management activities within an integrated workforce, adhering to legislative frameworks, government decision-making, and Defence's mission and policy requirements.
The ideal candidate will have highly developed skills in integrated logistics, contract management, aviation fleet management and business acumen.
They should be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders and prepare briefings, submissions, reports and commercial and contracting risks, issues and opportunities to stakeholders.
The role also requires strong leadership skills, including planning, leading and managing human and physical resources, focusing on strategic objectives and continuous improvement.
The team works closely with Australian Defence, US government and industry partners to facilitate the provision of timely advice and the delivery of the MH-60R capability.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience and a comprehensive knowledge of Integrated Logistics System (ILS), contract management support, maintenance support outcomes together with highly developed product, personnel and business acumen skills.
