About the Role
CMV Truck & Bus Derrimut has an exciting and rare opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced Parts Trainer to join our team in the Training Institute as a Technical Trainer – Parts. This is a rewarding career position for someone with exceptional knowledge of the heavy automotive industry and strong communication skills. You will play a key role in facilitating training activities and supporting employees in building long-term career paths within the CMV Group.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver engaging presentations and training sessions for parts interpreters, sales staff, and apprentices.
* Facilitate training through classroom instruction, practical techniques, and on-the-job coaching.
* Act as a resource for parts staff and management, ensuring training meets business needs.
* Create and maintain training timetables and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
* Regularly review and update training materials to ensure relevance and consistency.
* Assist the parts team with interpreting customer orders, using these as learning opportunities.
Skills & Experience
* Parts Interpreter certification or substantial experience in a similar role.
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or extensive experience in a training environment.
* Strong automotive industry background with sound knowledge of service operations.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders.
* Professional presentation and strong organisational skills.
* Proficiency in computer systems and time management.
