About The Role: The Midwifery Unit Manager role is responsible for the operational management and leadership of Midwifery/Nursing staff to ensure the provision of high quality patient and family centred care and Midwifery and nursing excellence at unit/ward level. The Midwifery Unit Manager Level 2 responsibilities in relation to patient services, ward or unit management and staff management are in excess of those of a Midwifery Unit Manager Level 1. Ideal Candidate
* Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
* Proven clinical management & leadership experience in a tertiary/district health care facility.
* Experience in rostering; managing skill mix & care delivery models according to patient/service need.
* Advanced communication & negotiation skills & experience in conflict resolution.
