We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to oversee the assessment and approval of development projects.
About the Role:
This position will involve collaborating with stakeholders, reviewing designs and applications, and ensuring compliance with local government policies and legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assess development and subdivision applications
* Review wetland, waterway, and pipeline designs
* Liaise with developers and key stakeholders
Required Qualifications:
* Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant experience/qualifications
* Experience in Victorian Local Government, ideally as a Civil Engineer
* Demonstrated experience in approving development plans
* Expertise in assessing legal points of discharge, vehicle crossings, and building over easements
* Strong understanding of local government policies, procedures, and legislation
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
