Job Title: Human Resources Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented professional to fill the role of Human Resources Specialist. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process, as well as providing support across various HR functions.


About the Role

* This position involves advertising job openings on popular job boards and social media platforms.
* The incumbent will also be responsible for shortlisting candidates, conducting phone screenings, and scheduling interviews.
* Apart from that, they will complete reference checks, organize medical assessments, and other pre-employment tests.
* The Human Resources Specialist will prepare and issue employment contracts in consultation with the HR team.
* Additionally, they will manage various mailboxes, including the recruitment inbox and SEEK database.
* The role also requires conducting background checks and maintaining accurate records.


Key Responsibilities

* Onboarding new employees, creating personnel files, and ensuring that all necessary documentation is collected and managed accordingly.
* Maintaining up-to-date and accurate records of all onboarding activities.
* Managing the administrative aspects of terminations, role changes, transfers, and changes to employment conditions.
* Ensuring ongoing compliance with periodic medical assessments, criminal history checks, and maintaining accurate records.
* Monitoring probationary periods and conducting check-ins with new employees.

The successful candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work independently, and demonstrate resilience. They will be results-driven and able to deliver high-quality outcomes.


Requirements

* Proven experience in human resources or a related field.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of human resources principles and practices. They will be able to provide guidance and support to colleagues while working collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.
