We're seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Team Leader to support our AP function during a key transition period. This is a 3-6 month contract with strong potential to extend or convert to permanent for the right person. You'll be working 3 days a week onsite in Wacol, with flexibility to work from home 2 days. This role will support and collaborate closely with AP Team Manager and sits within a highly capable finance operations team. What you'll be doing Lead and support a small onshore AP team, ensuring accurate and timely processing Oversee end‑to‑end AP: invoices, expenses, payments, vendor reconciliations Liaise with offshore AP teams to ensure SOPs and controls are followed Deliver daily/weekly/monthly AP and cashflow reporting Manage escalations and supplier/vendor queries Partner with finance and procurement stakeholders across the business Champion best‑practice AP processes, governance and compliance What we're looking for 5-10 years experience in Accounts Payable, including leadership of senior staff Strong understanding of P2P processes SAP experience preferred (S/4HANA or Concur) Exposure to OCR/RPA tools highly regarded Excellent stakeholder engagement skills Government sector experience is a bonus, but not essential Strong problem solving, communication, and team leadership capability About Toll People Toll People are Australia's most recognised provider of Transport, Logistics, Supply Chain and Warehouse staff.
