Job Title: Mine Planning Engineer
The role of a Mine Planning Engineer is critical to the success of our operations. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing daily and weekly schedules that align with the monthly schedule and achieve monthly targets. This involves detailed planning, engaging stakeholders, understanding of monthly schedules, projects and costs, dump construction methodologies, and long-term strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Creation of weekly schedules and assisting with monthly scheduling of pits and overburden emplacement facility.
* Provide guidance for other technical staff, planners and support at planning meetings.
* Liaise with Maintenance teams to optimise equipment maintenance scheduling.
* Process owner for short-term overburden placement facility design work and inspection processes.
* Responsible for weekly reconciliation of data to ensure it is correct and updated according to business requirements.
* Liaise with a range of internal stakeholders to ensure optimisation of resources to meet the mine plan.
* Provide expertise and guidance on overburden emplacement facility sequence and construction methodologies.
* Ensure all designs are compliant with policy.
