The company has grown from a one truck operation to being Australia's largest independent distributor of bp products, with 14 depots and numerous retail sites across the state.
Great Southern Fuel Supplies Pty Ltd are currently seeking a motivated Full-Time MC/HC Drivers (Dangerous Goods) to join our team based in Katanning. This is a great opportunity to become part of a respected transport operation offering excellent pay rates.
Key Responsibilities
* Commitment to safe driving practices, ensuring all journeys are conducted responsibly and with a strong focus on safety.
* Compliance with all State road safety regulations and industry standards, maintaining professionalism and accountability at all times.
* Ability to accurately follow routes, maps, and delivery schedules, ensuring timely and efficient transport operations.
* Sound knowledge of Heavy Vehicle Mass Management, Fatigue Management, Chain of Responsibility (CoR), Dangerous Goods requirements, and Road Transport regulations.
* Customer-focused mindset, with a positive attitude and the ability to communicate professionally with customers, team members, and stakeholders.
* A strong work ethic, with the ability to work independently and take pride in delivering a high standard of work.
* Reliable and punctual, with the ability to manage long-distance driving and maintain focus over extended periods.
About You
* Current HC (Heavy Combination) Driver's License – Essential for operating heavy vehicles safely and efficiently as part of daily operations.
* Excellent Driving Record – A strong safety-focused driving history with demonstrated responsibility and adherence to road safety regulations.
* Minimum 2 Years' HC Driving Experience – Proven experience operating HC vehicles in a professional environment, with confidence in handling heavy vehicles across varying routes and conditions.
* Dangerous Goods (DG) License – Experience transporting or handling dangerous goods is highly regarded.
* Fatigue Management Training – Understanding of driver fatigue management requirements and compliance with relevant regulations to ensure safe vehicle operation.
* Current National Police Clearance – A valid police clearance issued within the last 6 months demonstrating suitability for the role.
