We are proud to partner with one of our esteemed clients, the world's leading manufacturer of diesel engines. With offices located across Australia, they currently have an immediate opening for an Administrative Assistant.

This casual position offers 28 hours per week across five days, making it an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking flexible working arrangements—ideal for those balancing school drop-offs or preferring shorter hours

Responsibilities:

* Answers telephones, screens calls and takes messages so callers/visitors are dealt with promptly,

courteously and accurately.
* Transcribes, type, format and proof reads a variety of material (e.g., correspondence, invoices, contracts, meeting minutes, reports, speeches, and presentations) using word processing, presentation, graphics and spreadsheet software.
* Coordinates internal and external meetings. This may include scheduling meeting times, making travel arrangements for attendees and ensuring that various meeting amenities are available.
* Manages the appointments and schedules of staff in the unit.
* Uses office equipment such as photocopiers, faxes and printers.

Performs other administrative tasks. Activities may include distributing incoming mail, preparing outgoing mail, filing, maintaining office supplies or other inventory.

* Quick learner with new systems and procedures
* Strong communication skills
