**Overview**
We started as a digital printing company about 10 years ago and have since evolved into a comprehensive provider of custom design and printing services. Our specialties now include digital printing, large-format printing, illustration, and signage. Due to the growing demand for our illustration and signage services, we are seeking a full-time Technical Illustrator who specializes in creating custom 3D signage solutions for businesses, including restaurants, retail stores, and corporate clients.
In this role, you will work closely with clients and production teams to conceptualize, design, and prepare technical drawings for custom 3D signage. We need you to be able to use Enroute and have the knowledge about signage production and Konica Minolta AccurioPro. Your contributions will ensure seamless communication between design and manufacturing, resulting in exceptional products that meet and exceed client expectations.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with clients to understand their branding, aesthetic preferences, and functional requirements for signage projects.
- Use EnRoute or other 3D modeling software (e.g., SolidWorks, Blender) to create detailed 3D designs and visualizations for custom signage.
- Develop technical drawings and illustrations, including exploded views, lighting diagrams, and installation guides, ensuring precision and clarity for production and client approval.
- Prepare CNC-compatible designs, optimizing for material use and manufacturing efficiency.
- Work closely with the production team to ensure designs align with manufacturing capabilities and quality standards.
- Assist in presenting design concepts to clients, incorporating feedback to refine designs and achieve project goals.
- Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and technologies in signage and design.
**Experience & Qualification**
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
**Skills**
- Proven experience in 3D design, technical illustration, or a related field, preferably in signage manufacturing or a similar industry.
- Proficiency in **EnRoute**, with additional experience in SolidWorks, Blender, or similar 3D modeling software being a plus.
- Proficiency in adobe, illustrator, photoshop etc.
- Strong understanding of CNC routering processes and materials used in signage manufacturing.
- Ability to create visually appealing, accurate, and detailed 3D renderings and technical illustrations.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and internal teams.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work within tight deadlines.
- A creative mindset with the ability to translate client needs into innovative design solutions.
Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
