The Role As a Leading Hand / Foreman, you'll play a key hands-on role delivering premium residential projects while building the skills required to step into senior leadership.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Leading and motivating site teams to deliver high-quality work safely and efficiently
* Managing day-to-day site operations, programs, and budgets
* Coordinating trades, apprentices, suppliers, and material deliveries
* Maintaining exceptional build quality and WHS standards
* Tracking progress, managing defects, and reporting to the Project Manager
* Liaising confidently with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders
* Attending site meetings and contributing to continuous improvement
* Representing the builder professionally and positively on every site
Career Progression – A Real Path Forward This is not just a Foreman role. The business is actively looking to develop the right person into a Construction Manager within 12–24 months, where you will:
* Oversee up to four residential projects simultaneously
* Lead and mentor multiple Foremen across sites
* Take on greater responsibility for program, quality, and delivery
* Become a key part of the senior leadership team
What We're Looking For
* Certificate IV in Carpentry – ESSENTIAL
* High-end residential construction experience – ESSENTIAL
* 3+ years' experience as a Leading Hand or Foreman on projects $1M+
* A natural leader with a positive, energetic attitude
* Strong communication and people-management skills
* Solid understanding of WHS, site administration, budgets, and timelines
* Someone motivated to grow into a senior leadership role

Salary $110,000 – $120,000 + Super
