Core Lithium has now reached Final Investment Decision (FID), marking the official restart of the Finniss Lithium Operation and the next phase of growth. As we power back into production, this is an opportunity to be part of recharging a critical operation at the centre of the global battery supply chain.
Our preference is to build a long-term, Darwin-based workforce, offering residential drive-in, drive-out roles that allow you to be home every night.
About the Opportunities
We are seeking a Health & Safety Advisor to support safe operations across our site as we restart and ramp up production.
Reporting to the Health & Safety Superintendent, this role will work closely with site leadership, operational teams, and contractors to ensure strong safety practices are embedded across all areas of our operation.
You will play a key role in supporting both open pit mining and the development of our underground operation, providing practical, on-the-ground safety guidance in an active mining environment.
This is a Darwin-based residential role on a 5:2 roster (10-hour days), offering the opportunity to be home every night.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide day-to-day safety support across our site
* Conduct field-based inspections, audits, and risk assessments
* Support incident investigations and corrective actions
* Coach and mentor supervisors and teams on safety practices
* Assist in the development and implementation of safety systems and procedures
* Ensure compliance with site standards, legislation, and company policies
* Work closely with contractors to maintain consistent safety expectations
* Promote a strong safety culture across all work areas
About You
You are a proactive safety professional who enjoys working closely with operations in a hands-on environment.
You will bring:
* Experience in a Health & Safety Advisor role within mining or heavy industry
* Exposure to operational mining environments (underground experience highly regarded)
* Strong understanding of safety systems, risk management, and compliance
* Ability to engage effectively with frontline teams and contractors
* Strong communication and influencing skills
* Relevant health and safety qualifications (e.g. Cert IV WHS or equivalent)
* Commitment to safety leadership and continuous improvement
* Valid Australian driver’s licence
About Core Lithium
Core Lithium is an ASX-listed resources company focused on the restart of the Finniss Operation near Darwin in the Northern Territory. With open pit mining at the Grants deposit targeted to recommence in May 2026, feeding the site’s existing lithium processing plant, and underground development at BP33 planned later in the year, the operation is entering an important new phase of production.
As part of this restart, Core Lithium is undertaking a significant recruitment campaign to rebuild the operational workforce across mining and processing.
