The Role
They are seeking an experienced CW2/3 Skilled Labourer to join a high-performing team on major construction sites across Canberra. This is a hands-on role working alongside leading builders, supporting a range of site activities and trades.
You will be responsible for general labouring duties, site preparation, and assisting with material handling, while also operating machinery such as telehandlers (Manitou) where required. The role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and teamwork, contributing to the smooth day-to-day running of large construction projects.
This position offers consistent work on reputable sites, with opportunities for overtime and long-term engagement for the right candidate.
What You Need
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Proven experience working on commercial construction sites
* Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and within a team
* Good awareness of site safety practices and procedures
You must hold:
* White Card
* Asbestos Awareness
* Silica Awareness
* Telehandler / Manitou Ticket (highly regarded)
* Material and Personnel Hoist (highly regarded)
* EWP, Forklift, Dogman, Traffic Control (highly regarded)
* The more tickets and experience the better
