About the Role
As a Business Administrator (Customer Service Consultant) you will work alongside another CSC and the General Manager to support the operation of the care home. Your primary responsibility is the Employee Service function.
Duties
Each CSC has their own portfolio of duties. Generally, one focuses on Employee Services and another on Resident Placement, with both handling reception duties.
* Employee Service – Support and oversee the care home employee experience, including administering rosters, payroll, training, compliance, HR, recruitment activities, onboarding and induction, and managing annual and sick leave in rosters.
* Resident Placement – Provide prospective residents and their families with a warm, welcoming introduction to the Care Home, handling enquiries and coordinating admissions.
* Concierge / Reception / Admin – Lead the customer and administrative experience function, ensuring customer service is delivered to the highest standards.
Skills and Experience
* Patience and a calm, sunny disposition – working in a care home requires understanding and empathy.
* Excellent communication skills, diplomacy and a proactive approach – especially when speaking with worried families or confused residents.
* Intermediate to advanced MS Office Suite skills.
* Previous experience in a similar admin/customer service role.
* Previous experience in rosters, payroll and general HR functions including recruitment.
* Highly developed organisation and time‐management skills; prioritisation and self‐direction are key.
