The Public Transport Systems team (Transport Canberra) are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Advisor to undertake the development and management of the information infrastructure for all information management undertaken by Transport Canberra. In this role, you will be expected to review and ensure the information infrastructure needs is fit for purpose and efficiently integrated with other information infrastructure within the ACT Government. This position reports directly to the Director, Public Transport Systems. The responsibilities of this role include management of business‑critical IT applications, including business analysis, system configuration, end‑user support, and hands‑on troubleshooting, providing technical and policy advice on the configuration and management of information systems, and managing the administration and provide support with budgeting, reporting and governance of public transport systems, within a small team. Eligibility/Other Requirements: Drivers Licence (C-class) is mandatory. A tertiary level qualification in a related field is highly desirable. Notes: An order of merit will be established from this selection process and may be used to fill future identical vacancies over the next 12 months. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only. This position is situated in a workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk.
