We are looking for someone who is highly knowledgeable and passionate about privacy, great with people, and ready to dive into a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
This position supports the Privacy Lead as a member of the Privacy Team.
The role's primary objective is to enhance Endeavour's privacy compliance and implement a comprehensive privacy framework across the organisation.
The role is based remotely within Australia, ideally in either Melbourne or Sydney.Your core responsibilities will include:Providing expert privacy advice.Conducting privacy impact assessments.Developing and maintaining policies, standards, and guidelines.Assisting in the management of privacy incidents and regulatory notifications.Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Cyber, Compliance, and Data Governance, to strengthen the company's privacy culture.Contributing to the development and delivery of privacy training programs.Participating in strategic initiatives related to data privacy, including the responsible use of data and AI.Identifying and mitigating privacy risks.Providing guidance on regulatory changes and best practices.Strengthening relationships with key stakeholders.Supporting the delivery of privacy initiatives and projects.Promoting knowledge sharing and process improvement within the Privacy Team.What do we need from you?The role requires a qualified professional with a strong understanding of privacy law, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced, evolving business environment.3-4+ years of legal, compliance, or regulatory experience, preferably in privacy, technology, or commercial law.In-depth knowledge of Australian data privacy laws and regulations.Proven ability to draft policies and standards, conduct privacy impact assessments, and manage privacy incidents.Strong communication, analytical, and organisational skills.Experience in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.Familiarity with privacy frameworks and data governance principles.An interest in data, AI, and emerging technologies.The benefits are good too!Flexible working in every sense.An exclusive discount card for BWS, Dan Murphy's, Woolworths, BIG W and other Endeavour Group brands, including our ALH pubs.Monthly meeting-free days.A range of free services to help you live well and support your physical, mental and financial wellbeing.Use our dedicated learning and development options to grow an idea, yourself, and your career.At Endeavour, we value being a workplace where everyone's welcome - if you meet a number of the requirements (and not all), we encourage you to apply.What's in it for you?We are together creators.
