Hays Recruitment are specialists in the Building and Construction industry on the Sunshine Coast. Working with some of the Coast's most reputable commercial and civil building companies and contractors, we supply to projects including education facilities and schools, high-end luxury units and houses, aged care facilities, and road / bridge / subdivision projects. Our clients are regularly commencing new works and need enthusiastic labour hire workers to assist their teams.
Your new role
Duties may include but are not limited to:
* Assisting various tradespeople on site
* Operating various hand and power tools
* General property and landscape maintenance
* Grinding & Jackhammering
* Site maintenance and clean-up
* Unloading materials
* Assisting with concreting / pours
* Manual handling.
What you'll need to succeed
* Valid QLD Construction Safety Card (White Card / Blue Card)
* Proven labouring experience working on civil and/or commercial construction sites
* Working rights in Australia
* Working references covering the last 6 - 12months
* Current Driver's Licence and own reliable transport
* Ability to pass medical, drug and alcohol testing as required
* Additional tickets/qualifications would be advantageous.
