OverviewField Service EngineerLocation: Southampton, HampshireSalary: Basic £35,000 - £39,000 + Company Vehicle, Benefits; Overtime earnings £42,000 - £47,000ResponsibilitiesPerform planned maintenance, repair and breakdown duties on equipment such as gearboxes, pumps, motors, fan units and other rotating equipment.Work at client sites around the Southampton area.Communicate effectively with customers at their premises.Work on an individual basis and as part of a team.Be flexible and prepared to work on an on-call rota.QualificationsNVQ or City & Guilds qualification within an Engineering discipline.Robust mechanical engineering background with some electrical knowledge.Experience with equipment such as air compressors, pumps, motors, rotating equipment and gear boxes is preferred.Background from Workshop, Field Service, Marine or Forces is advantageous.Good communication skills and the ability to interact with customers.BenefitsLarge organisation with ongoing training and development opportunities.Company Vehicle, extensive overtime, Pension, 25 days holiday (+ Bank Holidays).
