About the Role:
This position involves preparing and assembling heavy equipment attachments, performing routine maintenance and inspections, operating power tools, and assisting with general workshop duties.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and assemble heavy equipment attachments to specification
* Perform regular maintenance checks on attachments
* Operate a range of power tools including grinders and sanders
* Provide assistance with general workshop tasks as needed
* Work independently and collaboratively with experienced tradespeople
Duties Include:
1. Pre-Assembly Preparation: Ensuring all necessary components are present and in good working order
2. Assembly and Installation: Assembling attachments to specification, ensuring accurate fitment and secure fastening
3. Maintenance and Inspection: Performing regular checks on attachments to ensure optimal performance and safety
4. Tool Operation: Safely operating a range of hand and power tools, including grinders and sanders
5. Workshop Support: Providing assistance with general workshop tasks as required, supporting team members and contributing to a safe and efficient work environment
