A Defence organisation in Adelaide's Northern suburbs is seeking a professional to commence work as soon as possible.
The role involves leading the planning, development and execution of Commonwealth Test & Evaluation activities for Mission Systems and Support Systems. This includes ensuring compliance with departmental, regulatory and legislative requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the Test & Evaluation program to ensure JORN capabilities meet functional and performance requirements.
- Conducting Test & Evaluation planning and contributing to an integrated schedule of activities across the Test & Evaluation lifecycle.
- Synchronising Commonwealth Test & Evaluation activities with those of contractors to maximise efficiency and optimise data use for evaluations.
- Leading Engineering Support Contractor activities in relation to the Commonwealth Test & Evaluation program.
- Undertaking verification and validation tasks to achieve agreed priorities and outcomes.
- Building and sustaining working relationships with key stakeholders.
- Coordinating the evaluation of contractor deliverables to ensure alignment with program objectives.
- Participating in the execution of Commonwealth responsibilities in relation to test activities and analyses.
Essential qualifications include eligibility for Chartered Status with Engineers Australia and extensive experience covering Systems Engineering, Software Engineering and Hardware Engineering, with significant exposure to Test & Evaluation in a Defence environment.
Desirable qualifications include experience across multiple disciplines.
