Clinical Leadership Opportunity in Community and Outpatient Social Work
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead to join our team and provide leadership and specialist advice regarding social work services for community-based and outpatient clients with complex needs.
This is a permanent full-time position, working 76 hours per fortnight. The successful applicant will require a degree in social work, current driver's license, and registration/licenses essential for the role.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience as a practicing social worker, with substantial knowledge of social work theory and practice. They will be able to apply professional judgment in resolving complex client issues, including consultation and advising on similar issues.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-level clinical leadership and specialist advice regarding social work services for community-based and outpatient clients with complex needs.
* Lead best practice standards for community-based and outpatient social work services in accordance with Australian Association of Social Workers Practice Standards and Code of Ethics.
* Assist the Head of Social Work with operational requirements, including recruitment, supervision, and support of staff and students.
Requirements:
* Extensive experience as a practicing social worker, with substantial knowledge of social work theory and practice.
* Ability to apply professional judgment in resolving complex client issues, including consultation and advising on similar issues.
* Demonstrated knowledge and experience of emergency, critical incident, and social recovery responses required by social work and understanding of Tasmanian Emergency Management Arrangements.
