Workforce Planning Lead
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Workforce Planning Lead to join our team. This role will lead the development and execution of workforce plans aligned to demand, service delivery, and operational goals.
* This includes overseeing end-to-end forecasting, scheduling, and rostering across a complex 24/7 national environment.
* The successful candidate will deliver data-driven insights into workforce utilisation, turnover, and productivity.
* Ongoing optimisation of workforce management systems for greater accuracy, visibility, and efficiency is also key to this role.
* A high-performing team of WFM professionals will be led and coached by the selected candidate, fostering growth and capability.
* Collaboration with key internal stakeholders will ensure alignment with organisational and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute workforce plans that meet business objectives.
* Lead and mentor a team of workforce planning professionals.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with organisational requirements.
Requirements
* 5–7 years of experience leading workforce planning teams in a complex, regulated, or high-volume setting.
* Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop specialist teams.
* Strong skills in workforce analytics and reporting.
* Proficiency with tools such as Emplive, Kronos, UKG, SAP, Quinyx, or similar.
* Solid understanding of relevant awards, compliance obligations, and rostering legislation.
* Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
