About the OPPORTUNITY
We have a great opportunity for a Storeperson to join our Weapons and Manufacturing line of business, based in North Ryde, NSW.
Reporting to the Warehousing Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the North Ryde stores deliver against the functional, performance and reporting requirements for both general North Ryde warehousing and project specific requirements.
**Key responsibilities include**:
- Maintaining a safe and secure warehouse/stores environment
- Receipting and despatching, including assisting in the completion of export documentation
- Stock management, including cycle counts, 100% audits
- Material handling, including use of motorised and manual lifting devices
- Issuing/returns of warehouse controlled stock to/from projects or individuals, including kitting of parts
- Being the point of contact for any warehouse/stores matters including liaising and coordinating deliveries with couriers and customers
- Ensuring export control and defence security compliance
- Appropriate use and timely updates of the associated software tools including Oracle, MILIS, Maximo and any other software tools required for the stores to perform its duties
- Assisting with periodic auditing of warehouse/stores records
- Assisting with all other general warehouse/stores duties
About YOU
- Demonstrated experience in a stores/warehousing environment
- Current forklift licence
- Current drivers licence
- Sound understanding and ability to use computerised software tools/systems
- Well-developed self-management skills and ability to work under pressure
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
