Job Description
We are seeking a Mechanical Asset Specialist to join our dynamic and rapidly expanding team. As a key member of our Engineering Authority, you will play a critical role in managing the asset lifecycle of our ports.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Manage and oversee port assets throughout their life cycle, including acquisition, utilisation, maintenance, and disposal.
* Analyse the performance of assets to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement and support decision-making related to maintenance programs, performance optimisation, capital programs, and lifecycle planning.
* Develop asset strategies based on asset condition assessments, performance data, and business objectives to maximise asset lifespan, optimise costs, and minimise the total cost of ownership.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A degree in a relevant field such as mechanical engineering, or a related discipline.
* Proven experience in asset management, preferably in a similar industry.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
