Overview
Clinical Nurse: Theatre Coordinator role at Calvary Health Care, located in Elizabeth Vale, SA 5112. This is a permanent position with a closing date of Nov.
Responsibilities
- Take responsibility to ensure all aspects of patient care are of the highest standard.
- Take a key role in the leadership of the unit, be an accountable and autonomous nurse; act in the best interest of the patient at all times and take personal responsibility for own actions and decisions.
- Be responsible for patient assessment, planning of care, giving and supervising safe and compassionate care, and evaluating the effectiveness of care.
- This direct leadership role will see you leading and supporting our team members and reporting to the clinical manager.
- You will be joining a team of passionate professionals driven to provide safe, holistic nursing care to each individual patient to achieve optimal outcomes.
What You Bring (Qualifications & Experience)
- Post graduate qualification in Peri-operative Nursing (Not essential)
- Recent Clinical experience in Peri-operative Nursing
- AHPRA Registration
- Ability to work unsupervised, proficiently and in an organised manner during periods of high demand and activity and provide Clinical Leadership
- Demonstrated communication, interpersonal skills and customer service skills
- A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission-based organization.
- A desire to share your experiences and participate in the future growth and development of the unit and assist in the education to staff within the Peri-operative unit.
