National Sales Manager – Industrial We are seeking a National Sales Manager – Industrial to lead and grow EPSA’s Industrial business across Australia. This strategically important and newly created role reflects the importance of the Industrial segment and the need for clear national ownership of performance, execution, and customer outcomes.
About the role As National Sales Manager – Industrial, you will lead EPSA’s Industrial sales function nationally and work closely with the Executive General Manager – Sales, segment managers, and internal support teams including engineering, project management, finance and marketing.
You will play a key role in increasing qualified opportunities, maximising engine sales and project revenue across the Industrial segment, and supporting the long‑term growth of EPSA’s business.
The role is accountable for aligning sales activity with EPSA’s Corporate Big 3, Individual Big 3, and Go‑to‑Market strategy, while managing effective sales coverage across both existing and new customers.
This position is based in Mulgrave (VIC) with a national scope and regular engagement across regions.
A Day in the Life of EPSA’s National Sales Manager – Industrial (but not limited to!) Providing strategic leadership across the Industrial sales function nationally
Leading and coaching a high‑performing, geographically dispersed sales team
Being hands‑on in major pursuits — leading negotiations and key customer engagements
Aligning national sales activity to EPSA’s Corporate Big 3, Go‑to‑Market strategy, and Caterpillar® PINS targets
Driving a strong performance culture focused on revenue, margin, win rate, and customer outcomes
Establishing and embedding sales infrastructure, forecasting discipline, and pipeline management
Identifying priority market segments, growth opportunities, and future strategic pipelines within the Industrial segment
Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders including Operations, Product Support, and Solutions to deliver disciplined outcomes
Managing and strengthening relationships with Caterpillar® and key partners to support performance and execution
Collecting and translating market intelligence into targeted sales and growth strategies
We’re looking for someone who: Is trade or degree qualified in a relevant business, engineering, or project management discipline
Brings experience with large diesel and/or gas engines or turbines or complex power solutions
Has a strong understanding of Industrial customer requirements, applications, and buying drivers
Understands long‑cycle, project‑based sales environments and complex decision‑making processes
Has demonstrated experience leading and developing a geographically dispersed national team
Is confident managing internal and external stakeholder relationships
Has strong financial and commercial acumen, including revenue and budget management
Demonstrates resilience and persistence across long‑cycle sales opportunities
Can review, design, and implement processes to improve sales effectiveness
Is comfortable using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms (desirable)
