Hearing Aid Centre Manager - Costco Gold Coast
Performs hearing exams, takes ear impression, makes recommendations and orders merchandise.
Programs, fits, and adjusts hearing aids for members.
Processes sales.
Oversees Non‑Licensed Hearing Aid Attendants and other clinical staff.
Maintains customer computer files.
Follows proper safety and security procedures and standards.
Provides a high level of member service.
Job Duties / Essential Functions Schedules, develops, counsels, and directs department personnel
Makes recommendations for hiring, promotion, and termination to warehouse manager
Drafts and participates in presentation of employee performance evaluations
Reviews and approves area timecards as appropriate
Reviews department sales, budget, and productivity figures
Develops and implements sales plan.
Observes employee performance to ensure proper department procedures and standards are followed
Coordinates proper equipment maintenance, repairs, or replacement
Approves and submits orders for equipment, product, and supplies
Meets with members and conducts routine tests with audiometer
Examines ear, referring to a physician when appropriate
Makes recommendations for hearing aids
Makes ear moulds
Sends paperwork and ear moulds to manufacturer
Programs and fits hearing aids to members
Assists with any adjustments, questions or problems
Answers questions and problems regarding prescriptions, merchandise or services and responds to member concerns
