We're seeking a talented and enthusiastic individual to join the team at Patisserie & Farm Shop by Cheryse Zagler, a charming gem nestled in the heart of the world-renowned Barossa Valley, South Australia.
Led by acclaimed French-trained pastry chef Cheryse Zagler, our patisserie is a dream realised; a rustic haven on the grounds of Kaesler Wines, full of country charm and filled with the irresistible aromas of freshly baked croissants, luscious tarts, delicate choux pastries, and seasonal creations inspired by local Barossa produce.
Cheryse, celebrated for her show-stopping wedding cakes, refined techniques honed in top restaurants across Adelaide and Melbourne, and her passion for flavour, texture, and the finest ingredients, has created a space where artistry meets everyday indulgence.
Here, we hand-make everything with care, serving buttery pastries alongside exceptional coffee in a setting that feels like a slice of heaven among the vines.

You'll be part of a small, passionate team bringing joy through food in one of Australia's most beautiful wine regions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in early morning baking and preparation of pastries, breads, tarts, and savoury items
• Support kitchen prep work, including ingredient sourcing and assembly for daily service
• Contribute to service, ensuring our handmade delights are presented perfectly
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, organisation, and quality in a fast-paced kitchen
What We're Looking For:
• Professional experience in pastry, baking, or kitchen preparation
• Reliability, creativity, and a positive attitude
• Ability to thrive with early morning starts
• Passion for quality ingredients and seasonal, handmade food
