Apprenticeship Overview
So, what duties can you expect to do in your apprenticeship?
- Hands-on experience across commercial and civic landscapes
- Work with one of Australia’s leading horticulture providers
- Contribute to garden, turf, and softscape maintenance
- Learn plant identification and seasonal care routines
- Recognise and manage pests and diseases under supervision
- Safely apply herbicides, pesticides, and horticultural treatments
- Operate and maintain horticultural machinery and equipment
- Assist with irrigation, drainage, and minor system repairs
- Develop skills in planting, pruning, soil care, and plant health
- Work alongside experienced tradespeople in a supportive team
- Complete Certificate III in Parks & Gardens through TAFE
What We’re Looking For
What are we looking for?
- Someone with a genuine interest in getting trade qualified while being paid
- An interest in pursuing a career in the Landscape/Horticulture Industry
- Someone that wants a career with many great opportunities for advancement
- Available to work Monday to Friday with 1 day a week at Tafe

- Driver's licence and own transport. Or ability to get to site
- National Police Check
- Working with Children Check
