We currently have exciting positions available for experienced Grounds and Maintenance personnel looking to break into the mining sector.
These roles are based at our villages in Moranbah on a Drive-in/Drive-out or Bus-in/Bus-out basis (from Mackay) or FIFO from Brisbane.
You will work either a 14/7 or 9/5 roster - 10 hour days which will see you home every 2nd weekend.
**The Role**
- Maintain and enhance site grounds and garden including but not limited to: turf management, tree and shrub maintenance, mowing, weed control and watering the grounds.
- Provide proactive maintenance to structures and services as required
- Chemical handling experience (desirable)
- Industrial cleaning where required
- Operate and maintain equipment and machinery
- Comply with company policies and procedures
- Perform other ad hoc duties as required
**The Person**
- General maintenance experience/trades or labouring background (desirable)
- Competent in operating general maintenance/grounds equipment and chemical handling
- Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Valid and current drivers licence
- Physically fit
- Motivated, high attention to detail and reliable
- Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test
- Must be fully vaccinated
- Forklift ticket (desirable)
- Weed spraying certificate (desirable)
