We are part of the Virgin group of companies worldwide and launched our Australian business in 2008 with one club, five studios and a dedicated team of just 50 people. Today, we have a team of nearly 1,000 people and we're building a collection of iconic locations in Sydney and Melbourne.
Your gig
In a nutshell -
* You'll oversee the personal training function to maximise the exercise experience for members while being held accountable for building a high-performing, engaged and capable team.
* You'll lead, coach and develop your team through regular feedback, performance conversations and structured development plans.
* You'll be responsible for contributing to the club's commercial success by driving revenue, retention and key commercial KPIs relevant to your function.
* You'll recruit, coach, develop and motivate the PT team to achieve agreed targets
* You'll ensure your department operates efficiently, safely and consistently through excellent delivery of club systems, processes and brand standards across your department.
* You are accountable for the stewardship of the club's personal training and fitness coach functions, driving PT sales performance, trainer capability and pipeline discipline to deliver sustainable revenue growth and strong member outcomes.
* You'll maintain a strong PT administrative hygiene, ensuring sessions, billing, client records and documentation are accurate, and compliant to support reporting, accountability and trust.
* You'll collaborate with the Head of Department team to align PT strategies with broader club commercial goals.
All about you

* You have your Cert IV in Fitness, your first aid, and can readily obtain a clear Working with Children Check (if required).
* You\'re people focused. You're authentic. You get a kick out of getting people to those I did it! moments. You\'re comfortable connecting with members and thrive on building true community.
* You take ownership. You step up, follow through and take responsibility for outcomes. You don't wait for direction — you act with intent and lead from the front.
* You expect growth. You set high standards for yourself and others. You seek continuous improvement, challenge the status quo and drive performance, capability and results forward.
* You value people. You invest in your team's development and wellbeing. You recognise contribution, build trust and create a culture of inclusion, collaboration and accountability.
