About the Business:

This is a design-led, growth-focused business delivering high-performance aluminium vessel designs to a network of respected boatbuilders across Australia, New Zealand, North America, and beyond. Why It Stands Out:

This is a role where your designs are realised and respected. You’ll be part of a growing business with a clear strategy, strong values, and long-term industry partnerships, contributing directly to products that are shaping the future of modern boatbuilding.

Why You’ll Value This Opportunity:

Collaborate on custom, production, and R&D projects

Join a technically skilled team where mentorship and development are encouraged

Key Responsibilities:

* Produce accurate 3D models, assemblies, and production drawings
* Perform structural reviews, hydrostatics, and stability calculations
* Collaborate with builders to tailor designs to real-world fabrication and usage
* Ensure all designs comply with NSCV, ISO, AS1799, and Lloyds SSC standards
* Support prototyping and internal platform development
* Help mentor junior designers and contribute to design evolution across the team

What You Bring:

* Degree in Naval Architecture or related marine design field
* At least 5 years' experience in small craft or aluminium vessel design
* Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor ; experience with Rhino 3D, Maxsurf, or Orca3D is advantageous
* Solid understanding of marine compliance and fabrication principles
* Excellent interpersonal skills and experience working with external stakeholders
* A thoughtful, practical approach to innovation and continuous improvement
