Are you a Registered Nurse with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, and a passion for delivering high quality patient care? We are seeking a Registered Nurse Full Time for the Coronary Care Unit. Suitable applicants with the right clinical background are encouraged to apply.
As a Registered Nurse your responsibilities will include:
o Deliver evidence based nursing care
o Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team
o Ensure patient and staff safety
o Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient care
o Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end of life needs
About the Company
The hospital offers a range of specialties including cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, general surgery, general medicine, gynaecology and maternity, oncology, orthopaedics, urology and vascular surgery. Ashford Hospital has 9 operating theatres, 1 procedure room, 2 angiography labs, an emergency department, maternity services and a 24 bed level 3 critical care unit.
About You
o Current Registration with AHPRA
o Post Graduate Certificate in ICU/CCU (or working towards)
o Working with Children check (if relevant)
o Commitment to Quality Patient Care
o Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
o Excellent communication and customer service skills
o Works well independently or within a team
o Basic computer skills
