CiMaS Nursing Service is a leading boutique provider of Aged Care and Disability Services that specializes in Nursing and Care Services across Ipswich, Queensland, and its surrounds. CiMaS Home Nursing Service is seeking an experienced individual to lead our dedicated team and drive the continued growth and success. This leadership role will be responsible for the entire scope of the business operations, from service delivery and quality assurance to financial performance and strategic planning. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with a strong background in healthcare management, a passion for quality care, and a proven ability to inspire and manage high-performance teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Leadership and Business Development

· In collaboration with the Director, develop and execute the company's strategic plan to achieve long-term growth, sustainability, and market leadership

· Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and changes in the regulatory landscape (including NDIS, Aged Care, WH&S etc.) to inform strategic decisions.

· Represent CiMaS Nursing Services at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to build brand presence and foster key relationships.

Operational Management

· Oversee all day-to-day operations to ensure the seamless and efficient delivery of high-quality nursing and support services.

· Lead, mentor, and develop the senior management team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

· Ensure all operations comply with relevant legislation, industry standards, and contractual obligations.

· Implement and refine operational policies, procedures, and systems to enhance efficiency, quality, and client satisfaction.

· Manage workforce planning to meet client needs effectively.

Financial & Commercial Acumen

· Take responsibility along with senior staff for the financial performance and profitability of the business.

· Drive financial sustainability through effective cost control, revenue optimization, and efficient resource management.

· Analyse financial data to identify trends, measure performance against KPIs, and guide decision making.

Quality, Risk Compliance

· Champion a culture of safety and quality across the organization.

· Ensure the organization meets and exceeds the requirements of all relevant quality standards, including the NDIS Practice Standards and Aged Care Strengthened Quality Standards.

· Oversee the risk management framework, identifying and mitigating operational, financial, and clinical risks.

· Manage all aspects of clinical governance to ensure the delivery of safe and effective person-centered care.

People and Culture

· Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance workplace culture that reflects the values of CiMaS.

· Lead workforce development initiatives, including recruitment, retention, training, and performance management.

· Promote staff well-being and create an environment where team members feel valued, supported, and motivated.

Qualifications and Experience

· Tertiary qualifications in Business Management, Health Administration, or a related field. A clinical background (e.g. Registered Nurse) is highly desirable.

· Minimum of 5 years of senior management experience, preferably within the community nursing, aged care, or disability services sector.

· Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, business development, and financial management.

· In-depth knowledge of the Australian healthcare system, including the Aged Care and disability funding models.

· Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a results-oriented mindset.

· A current National NDIS Workers screening Check and the right to work in Australia.

Pay: $90,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 30 – 38 per week

* Ipswich QLD 4305: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
