Overview

Department of Fire & Emergency Services WA – Cockburn Central WA

Location: Cockburn Unit/Division: Corporate Services | Work Type: Permanent

Position: Management Accountant | Salary: Level 6 - $120,457; 132,753

Closing Date: 2026-03-26 4:00 PM

Responsibilities

* Undertake complex analysis of financial and non-financial data and information to provide specialist advice to a large and diverse organisation.
* Provide timely internal financial reports to enable customers to make appropriate financial decisions.
* Contribute ideas to the ongoing development and enhancement of the financial management information system.
* Provide assistance for annual recurrent and capital budgets and four year forward estimates.
* Build and sustain productive relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
* Support the analysis and monitoring of the organisation's financial performance.

Qualifications

* Evidence of tertiary qualification in accounting, business, commerce or equivalent and eligibility for membership to a professional accounting body.
* A current comprehensive CV demonstrating relevant competencies and experiences, including the names of two referees.
* A maximum two-page statement addressing essential criteria.
