We are looking for a passionate and caring leader to step into the role of Senior Practitioner / Clinical Lead. In this role you will be the go-to person for clinical guidance in our team and for the young people in our care. You'll use proven therapeutic approaches to make a real difference, helping shape the day-to-day support for young people and boosting the impact of our amazing youth worker teams.

Key Responsibilities include:
Clinical and Practice Leadership
* Take clinical responsibility for therapeutic practices across residential care services.
* Lead complex case panels, conduct in-depth reviews, and influence systems-level improvement.
* Design, implement, and review Positive Behaviour Support Plans using evidence-based models.
* Ensure clinical documentation, assessment, and reporting meet high standards of accuracy and accountability.
Staff Support and Supervision
* Provide clinical supervision, mentoring, and training to youth worker teams and practitioners.
* Promote a reflective, recovery-oriented practice culture with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
* Embed a stepped care model to deliver holistic youth-focused support.
Service Innovation and Governance
* Drive innovation through the development of cutting-edge, trauma-informed interventions.
* Oversee compliance with legislative, clinical, and model-of-care requirements.
* Contribute to policy and procedure reviews to strengthen therapeutic practice across the service.
Stakeholder Engagement
* Build and maintain collaborative relationships with external agencies and professionals.
* Represent the organisations' values and therapeutic approach in all engagements.
About You
* Extensive experience in child and family services, including therapeutic residential care.
* Ideally hold a Master's degree or relevant qualification
* Strong leadership and mentoring skills in a multidisciplinary environment.
* Deep understanding of trauma-informed care, child development, attachment, and behavioural frameworks.
* Skilled communicator with the ability to manage complexity and drive service quality.
* Be willing to undergo a personal history check under the provision of the Child Protection Act 1999 in relation to Licensing of Care Services
* Current Queensland Driver's Licence
* "Working with Children" Blue Card (or willing to obtain)
