Description Interim Bookkeeper - Part time/PT - 19 hours pw, Adelaide This is a hands-on operational role focused on card management, reimbursements, supplier processing, and finance support activities. The Role Card & Reimbursement Management You will manage the day-to-day administration and reconciliation of organisational spending channels, ensuring transactions are accurately recorded and compliant. Key responsibilities include: Managing and reconciling company e-cards and physical corporate cards Processing employee and volunteer reimbursement claims Reviewing expense claims and ensuring valid tax invoices are provided Verifying GST treatment and coding transactions correctly Processing payments and maintaining accurate records Investigating and resolving discrepancies Ensuring compliance with internal policies and budget parameters Finance Operations Support You will also provide broader bookkeeping support across the finance function. This includes: Assisting with supplier invoice processing and payment preparation Verifying tax invoices and GST treatment Performing account reconciliations Supporting month-end processes Assisting with journal entries Supporting audit preparation and reporting activities Responding to vendor queries Assisting with other finance-related duties as required Skills And Experiences About You You are a detail-oriented finance professional who enjoys bringing order and clarity to financial records. You will likely bring: Demonstrated bookkeeping or finance administration experience Strong understanding of GST requirements and tax invoices in Australia Experience managing corporate card reconciliations and expense claims High attention to detail and strong reconciliation capability Confidence working with financial systems and spreadsheets Ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment A collaborative mindset and willingness to support the broader finance team Confidentiality Experience in the not-for-profit, volunteer, emergency services, or government sectors will be viewed favourably but is not essential.
