We’re now looking for a Senior HR Manager for our Global Group Functions portfolio — a pivotal leadership role available following an internal promotion.This role partners closely with leaders across a diverse and strategically critical portfolio of Corporate Services including our Global Business Services hub in Manila, Group Functions including Communications, Strategy Development and M&A and Finance and finally our Technology & Innovation group which includes R&D, Technology and Product Development across several Technology Centres around the world. These functions are central to Orica’s global operations and strategic priorities, and your work will directly support their success.You’ll play a central role in guiding our strategic evolution, partnering with global leaders to shape the future of work across these functions. Through your leadership, you’ll help our teams shape bold ideas, spark innovation, and grow capabilities that drive meaningful impact across the business.This role suits a senior HR leader with 15+ years’ experience in complex, global environments, strong strategic HR expertise, and the ability to influence and deliver in a fast-paced setting.Applications close at 11:59pm (AEST) on Tuesday, 17 June.What you will be doingPartner with senior stakeholders, including some of the Group Executive, to design and deliver people strategies that elevate performance, build capability, and foster a thriving culture.Directly lead a small team, leverage and mentor a geographically dispersed team of HR Business Partners, ensuring consistent delivery of strategic and operational HR support.Act as a trusted advisor on organisational design, workforce planning, and employee relations matters.Drive initiatives that enhance employee engagement, leadership development, and organisational effectiveness.Partner with the Technology & Innovation group on people strategies to continue to deliver word class technical products and solutions to our global business and customers.Support the evolution of our IT function, with a focus on automation, cybersecurity, and digital capability uplift.Work closely with theGlobal Business Services groupto support Orica’s evolving operating model.Work with our Corporate Strategy and M&A teams to help Orica achieve its future growth aspirations.What you will bringTertiary qualifications in HR, Business, or a related field.Proven experience in a senior HR business partnering role, with a track record of working with leadership teams to deliver strategic and operational people outcomes in complex, global environments.Demonstrated experience leading teams, building capability, and fostering a high-performance, inclusive culture.Strong commercial understanding and the ability to align people strategies with business goals.Expertise in workforce planning, talent reviews, and organisational design.Previous experience supporting or partnering with a GBS function is highly desirable.Agility and resilience in navigating ambiguity and leading change.What we offerAs part of a truly global company, you will have the ability to grow and learn in a diverse, collaborative culture.
