Following an internal promotion - we're now seeking a Network Development Manager to join our high performing Sales Operations, Network and Strategy team. This is an exciting opportunity to directly influence the future of Autopact's national dealership network.
About the role:
Reporting to the National Head of Sales & Strategy, you'll lead the development and execution of strategic network initiatives — from identifying greenfield opportunities to launching dealerships. This is a leadership role requiring strong commercial acumen, high-level stakeholder engagement, and a passion for aligning property, brand, and operational strategy.
You will work closely with OEMs, internal executives, and external stakeholders to ensure every initiative aligns with our business goals and brand expectations.
About you:
In order to be successful in the role, you will have a proven background in network development of at least 2 years' experience, specifically in the automotive industry. You're a strategic thinker with outstanding project and stakeholder management skills, and a deep understanding of dealership operations, OEM dynamics, and compliance frameworks. You thrive in high-performance environments, excel at negotiation, and know how to lead with influence and clarity.
Key responsibilities
· Build and maintain strong relationships with OEM partners to support network growth and strategic alignment
· Lead the identification and execution of greenfield opportunities – from site assessment through to dealership launch
· Manage the greenfield application process, ensuring coordination with internal and external stakeholders for timely submissions
· Support the review, negotiation, and finalisation of Dealer Agreements to meet OEM and business objectives
· Oversee the OEM approval process, ensuring developments and upgrades align with brand expectations and compliance standards
· Conduct property research and lead lease negotiations
· Prepare detailed board papers and strategic documentation
· Be a key driver of national growth strategy within a respected and future-focused automotive group
· Work with some of the industry's best-known brands and OEM partners
