Your Opportunity:
* Manage and coordinate building, engineering, and maintenance services for the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service (WBHHS). This includes a comprehensive asset management service including strategic asset replacement planning, programmed preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, and minor new works management.
* Ensure relevant statutory and safety requirements for building and engineering services are met including the continuity of essential services.
What we're looking for:
* Well-developed leadership and management skills including demonstrated capacity to create and maintain high performing teams and demonstrated ability to manage change and innovation in business services.
* Demonstrated ability in, and knowledge of facilities maintenance and asset management within a complex organisational environment.
* Analytical and management skills with the ability to implement appropriate solutions to maintenance and asset management problems of a critical nature.
* Ability to analyse, prepare and/or present reports of a complex nature and to effectively communicate and negotiate outcomes with staff and senior management.
Preferred Qualifications:
* While not mandatory, a relevant qualification would be well regarded.
* This position requires the incumbent to work at other facilities within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service.

You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $166,569 p.a., comprising salary between $136,035 - $145,990 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO7) (Permanent Full Time, 76 hours p.f.)
