**Role Description/Criteria**
Are you a highly skilled teacher with relevant qualifications and experience as a Learning Diversity Leader?

Come join St Damian's School and work with our dynamic team of staff to support our students. This role is for 3 days (0.6) per week (days negotiable). This role can be combined with 0.4 (2 days) STEM role teaching Years 3-6 or other specialist area by negotiation.
The successful applicant will be able to:
- be open to ongoing learning and development
- be enthusiastic, motivated and team orientated
- understand the needs of students with additional or special needs and work with teachers and parents to ensure their learning needs are met
- organise and run PSG meetings
- assist teachers with programming to meet the needs of students through developing ILP and other documentation
- liaise with various agencies to support families and students
- work with teachers to ensure documentation is relevant to NCCD funding requirements
- create rosters for Learning Support Officers to ensure students are supported adequately
- Liaise with Learning Support Officers and support them in their work with students
- commit to the philosophy of restorative practice
- possess a sound knowledge and understanding of current thinking and research into curriculum, pedagogy and the Victorian Curriculum
- demonstrate a willingness to support our Catholic school vision
**Special Requirements**
**Applicants must have**:
- current VIT Registration
- a commitment to the ethos of Catholic education.
