HR Manager – Full Time
We are seeking an experienced and inspiring HR Manager to join our client Aboriginal Health Council of SA (AHCSA) in leading their dedicated team with professionalism, empathy, and cultural awareness. What we're looking for in our HR Manager
Qualifications & Expertise – A Bachelor of Human Resource Management or other relevant tertiary qualification is essential. Alternatively, you may hold a lesser qualification complemented by extensive skills and significant HR experience to an equivalent level.
Specialist Credentials – A Return-to-Work Coordinator Certificate is desirable and will be highly regarded.
Authentic Leadership – You have the proven ability to build strong, genuine relationships across all levels of an organisation. You lead by example and are known for your warm, engaging communication style – even when navigating complex or sensitive conversations.
Cultural Advocacy – You ensure Aboriginal perspectives are meaningfully represented in all decision-making processes, and if you are a non-Aboriginal person, you consistently act as a trusted ally.
Comprehensive HR Operations Experience – You bring a wealth of experience across the full spectrum of HR, including recruitment, workforce planning, performance management and development, HR process improvement, and providing strategic advice to the Management Team and Board.
Flexibility & Commitment – The role requires the ability to travel both intra-state and interstate (including overnight absences) and occasional out-of-hours work.
Integrity & Compliance – A current National Police Certificate (or the ability to obtain one) is required.
